Financier | Philanthropist
The name Richard Driehaus conjures up a host of descriptors and definitions—philanthropist extraordinaire, art collector, world-class financier and DePaul Blue Demons devotee. In 1982, he founded Driehaus Capital Management LLC, a privately held, Chicago-based investment advisory firm managing about $8 billion in assets (as of September 2012). Driehaus never followed anyone else’s game plan; he was too busy drafting his own.
“Remember what Henry Ford said: “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.”
